The Asticom Group of Companies, a foremost tech-enabled shared services organization, commemorates its 8th anniversary, marked by numerous achievements and recognitions showcasing its steadfast commitment to innovation and excellence.
Since its inception as Asticom Technology Inc. under the Globe Group, Asticom has consistently maintained its dedication to the mission of enhancing businesses and people’s lives.
“We thank our valued clients for their continued trust in Asticom throughout the years. As a partner, we remain committed to supporting their businesses and accelerating their success by making our solutions better, delivering highly responsive services, and creating superior customer experience,” said Asticom Group of Companies President and CEO Mharicar Castillo-Reyes.
“It is our goal to contribute to the economic recovery of the country and we will continue to strive towards this purpose,” she said.
Starting with a mere five employees in 2015, Asticom has grown its workforce exponentially. It reached 3,000 employees in 2021 and almost doubled the figure to 5,000 in 2022. Asticom has also set ambitious goals to generate 15,000 jobs within the next 3-5 years.
Furthermore, the company surpassed billion-revenue milestones in 2017, 2021, and 2022, becoming a major contributor to the Globe Group’s non-telco revenue spike last year. It also achieved a significant compound annual growth rate of 34%.
In 2021, Asticom launched its first subsidiaries and became the Asticom Group of Companies. They include Asti Business Services Inc. (ABSI), Fiber Infrastructure and Network Services Inc. (FINSI), and BRAD Warehouse and Logistics Services, which was later divested to another Ayala-owned company. ABSI also acquired HCX Technology Partners Inc., now serving as the group’s digital business solutions arm.
Asticom continues to expand its reach with the launch of Acquiro Solutions and Tech Inc. in January 2023. Acquiro leverages technology to build modern workplaces and talent solutions through its staffing and tech platform NXT.
The group’s innovative approaches have earned it numerous accolades for growth, digital transformation, female leadership, and HR tech, including recognition in the Asia Pacific STEVIE® Awards, TITAN Business Awards, AEC IncrediBiz Awards, and Women in Finance Technology (WiFT) Leadership Awards. Asticom has also been recognized for its people-centered initiatives, earning titles such as Employer of Choice, Best Professional Employer Organization, Philippines’ Best Employers for 2023, and being certified as a Great Place to Work.
“As we celebrate our 8th anniversary, we thank our people for their continued trust in Asticom’s vision. We reaffirm our commitment to creating more opportunities for Filipinos, all towards our ultimate goal of improving people’s lives,” Castillo-Reyes added.
